I don’t have much information on whether they are trustworthy or not, and I don’t have a family doctor that I have been going to for a long time, so I am not sure whether I should go or not.

For example, many people often go to dentists, internists for colds, and obstetricians and gynecologists, so I think it is safe to ask friends for their recommendations. However, many people have never been to a dermatologist, so they may not be able to get recommendations from their friends.

I once looked for a dermatologist to check whether a mole was cancerous or not, and I had a hard time deciding which dermatologist to go to among the many that appeared.

So, I would like to share my experience with you.

First of all, you may be looking for a dermatologist in your area.

I recommend an app that I often use to find a dermatologist in your area. I recommend “Yelp”.

I use this app especially when I can’t gather much information by asking around my friends.

I often use Yelp and google map to check the ratings on the internet. Sometimes the ratings are different, so I recommend checking reviews on several different sources.

To search, dermatology is Dermatology in English, so search for that word or Dermatologists and see what you find.

This will bring up many neighborhood dermatologists.

Some of them may offer the procedure you are looking for, while others may not.

For example, if you search for dermatologists, you will find many hospitals that do not offer “skin cancer screening for moles,” so if you want to be screened for skin cancer, check the information section of Yelp first to see if they offer Skin Cancer Treatment, Skin Cancer Screening, etc.

You can make an appointment through Yelp, but I personally recommend that it is safer to make an appointment by phone or through the dermatologist’s website.

If you have decided on a dermatologist based on Yelp or Google Maps, call or email the dermatologist to make an appointment. At that time, you can ask about the cost of the initial consultation.

It may take a month before you can make an appointment (as of 2022 in Los Angeles), partly because there are not many dermatologists in the area. The larger the city, the more crowded it is because many patients ask for good dermatologists. Thus, the highly rated dermatologist I called told me I would have to wait 3 months for my first appointment.

If you really want to see a popular dermatologist, I would recommend that you make an appointment as soon as you notice your problem, as they seem to get patients from other cities and states.

Most hospitals will see patients without medical insurance, although this is not a guarantee.

As for the cost of the problem.

If you are uninsured, the cost of a first visit to a dermatologist may vary slightly, but a first visit to a dermatologist will generally cost about $150 at any hospital. (These are just the prices for an initial dermatology consultation in Los Angeles, CA.)

After that, the price will vary depending on the doctor and how he/she treats the disease and the procedure that results from the first visit, so consultation is required at the first visit. It will be $150 for that.

If you have insurance, the cost will be much lower if surgery is required, but even if you do not have insurance, the doctor will not suddenly charge you a large amount of money, so do not worry at the consultation stage and trust the doctor to know the cause of the problem first. You can rest assured that you are in good hands.

If you do not know the name of the disease or other details, it is a good idea to look it up on Google beforehand. After all, isn’t it most important to tell the doctor what kind of problem you came to see the doctor for today and what kind of situation you are in? I think it will be easier for the doctor to make a diagnosis if he or she has some information from you.

Therefore, even if you are not good at special English such as doctor’s terms, it is better to be able to tell the doctor the name of the disease and symptoms, so that the examination and misdiagnosis will be smoother and less likely to occur. If you know the English words, it will be easier for you to understand the information.

My experience with the dermatologist was that I was able to make an appointment right away by calling.

I think it was because there were several doctors in the dermatology department that I was able to get an appointment the next day.

I called a few dermatologists who were testing for skin cancer, but some said I would have to wait a couple of months. The last dermatologist I called said they could do it right away, so I decided to go for it.

I was examined at “Glendale Dermatology” in Glendale, California. The results of this examination were that the mole was neither a mole nor skin cancer, so the doctor simply removed it with his finger and there was no second visit, so the only cost was the initial consultation fee.

The parking lot is located on the side of the building and is relatively easy to find.

Once you enter the building, you take the elevator up to the third floor, and room 320 is the reception area.

The receptionists were very nice and beautiful.

The receptionist handed me a tablet and asked me to sign the terms and conditions regarding Corona and insurance. The medical questionnaire is now on a tablet.

After that, when my name was called in the waiting room, a nurse took me into the examination room, where I was asked a few simple questions and waited for the doctor. After that, the doctor came in, examined me, said everything was fine, and sent me home.

My entire visit took about an hour.

Personally, I would recommend Glendale Dermatology to anyone who lives in the LA area and is looking for a dermatologist.

This time, it was not a major surgery or procedure (he was very relieved), so I can’t give a rating on that yet, but I have no complaints about the standard pricing (limited to the initial consultation and consultation fee), customer service and cleanliness of the facility, and smoothness of the process.

Therefore, people living in Los Angeles and Orange County may have to wait quite a long time for an appointment. Even if you think it is a mole, you should see a doctor if it looks suspicious.
